SQUASH IN THE LAND
Professional squash gets a new home in Cleveland this year as it will hold a combined PSA World Tour event.
Cleveland has long established itself as a proud home to world-class squash, hosting both a winter PSA World Tour women’s event at the Cleveland Racquet Club and a fall PSA Tour men’s event at the Cleveland Skating Club. New for 2025, Squash in the Land will combine the two historic tournaments into one PSA World Tour Silver event.
Opening rounds of the tournament will be split between the Cleveland Racquet Club, Cleveland Skating Club and Urban Squash Cleveland. Starting in the evening of January 14, the Quarterfinals-Final rounds will take place at the Outcalt Theatre of Playhouse Square. Featuring an all glass court, these sessions will bring professional sports to the forefront of Cleveland's world renound theatre district.
Squash in the Land event complements a growing Cleveland racquet sports calendar that includes the very popular Tennis in the Land summer WTA event held downtown, as well as Pickle in the Land, Cleveland’s first major pickleball event held December at the Huntington Convention Center.
